Products That I Would Not Buy Again

1. Max Factor Colour Adapt Foundation

This was the first foundation I ever brought and I absolutely adored it for months. I don't know what has happened; has my skin type changed? Have they re-designed it? I don't know but nonetheless, I am no longer its No.1 fan. Every time I buy this now, it becomes a mouse-like-texture instead of a liquid after a few days and it just leaves orange patches on my face. I kept buying it because I didn't want to give up on my trustworthy, always been good foundation but have now decided it is time to give up - sorry foundation, very sad to see you go.

2. Simple Exfoliating Facial Wipes

I actually brought these by accident because I thought they were the cleansing wipes(very deceiving packaging)but since I had spent my mums hard earned money on them, I felt I should give them a whirl. I am not sure what they were supposed to do but I felt like I was rubbing my face with a, um... back scratcher (sorry to put it so politely), it didn't really feel "kind to my skin". It did however, make it very warm and red. Is that suppose to happen?

3. Rimmel Stay Matte Primer

Really wanted to give this a try because I love the Stay Matte face powder; it is my be all and end all but I was sadly disappointed by this. It was really thick, gloupy texture and made my face feel really sticky - not what you want to wear before applying foundation. Plus, it smelt like that glue that you use in primary school! You can see from the photo that it has been in my my make up bag because I don't like to give up on a product after only a few tries but this really just did not do it for me!

4. Rimmel Scandal Eyes Eyeliner

I feel I have actually been a little harsh putting this eyeliner in this post because it is a good eyeliner; it produces a solid black liner that lasts all day and doesn't smudge. However, I didn't find the application style very easy for winged eyeliner because the pen nib would bend in half. This made my "eyeliner wing" (not sure what to call it ahaha) look like a black splotch on the side of my eye, which sadly, isn't the look I like going for.

Sorry if I have offended anyone with my opinions in this post. They are just my personal opinions and yours may differ from mine; nobody has identical skin so we will all react differently to different things. Please feel feel to comment if I am using these products wrong and I will happily give them another try.
