Prom Hair and Make Up

Today was my sisters prom or "ball" (her school like to call it to make it sound more classy). From about 1pm onwards, my older sister and I have been getting her ready. Though it may sound like a simple task, I can assure you, it is not. Amongst the stresses, swear words and tantrums though there were many laughs and all in all, it was a wonderful day.

As you can see from the photos, my sisters hair is naturally very curly. As a result, it becomes knotty, dry and often frizzy. The night before, we used a split end mender and a curl defining oil to try and reduce the frizz. We also chose to re-curl it with a curl wand to make the curls look neater and more pristine.

The hair products used:
- Tresemme Salon Silk Shampoo
- Tresemme Salon Silk Conditioner

The hair tools used:
- Bobby Bins

For make up, we went natural as I have yet to perfect, or even With make up, we went for a natural eye as I struggle to perfect, or even make a smoky eye look half decent. Unfortunately, my collection 200 lasting perfection concealer run out yesterday and I forgot to buy a new one so I had to use another one I had recently brought (review coming shortly)... probably was not the best idea trying out a new product an hour before it was time to leave. However, it still looked good and by the end of it, my sister looked amazing.
